19th BDay Celebration

This week, I managed to book out at friday evening approximately around 1850hours. Took MRT from khatib back home. When I reached home, I did my usual stuff like watching anime, playing some MMORPG called CABAL online and read naruto and bleach manga. Around 0030 hours on saturday morning, I went to bed and sleep. Woke up around 0730hours and surfed around. I went to the dota website and saw that there was a new version 6.53. After reading the changelog, I decided to download the map and try for fun as there was a new hero. After trying one short game, I went out with my mother from breakfast/lunch at parkway parade. Then followed her to buy some stuff at NTUC before heading back home. After reaching home, I took a shower before heading out to meet my friends at Clark Quay control station. When I reached there, 3 of my friends were sitting there already, but dont know why I did not notice them at first. Haha, only after going to the toilet and then i turned back then I saw them there. Apprently, I was the first male among my friends to reach there first. I waited quite awhile with Xin Ee, Liyu and Li yue for the others to come. After awhile, Emmanuel came then marcel and bernard came. Then we headed out for Settlers to play some games there. Later on, Marcus, Sarah, Jing Feng joined us but bernard left early. We played at Settlers until around 6pm then headed to Suntec for dinner. Alvin, Joseph and Ben loh joined us for dinner there. It was really nice of my friends to remember our birthdays and bought birthday presents for us. We ate dinner and talk cock until around 2210h then some of us went home, some stayed and talk abit more. I took a direct bus home and reached home around 11pm. When i reached home, I played a game of dota but, it wasnt a good game for me i guess. After the game, i washed up and went to sleep after reading my bible.

Happy 19th Birthday to ME

Yay! Today, 6 July 2008, is the day I become 19 years old. Nothing special happened though. In about 1hrs time I should be reaching my camp. In there, probably a 'tau pok' ambush is waiting for me. Oh well, either way, in camp there were many others who have been 'tau poked' already and in some of the cases, I was one of those piling up on top, so I would not be expecting myself to get away scot free today. Hopefully my tau pok does not break the current tau pok height record within my course. Think the highest was around 9 person piling on top.

This week was probably one of the latest book outs I ever had since I was posted to this camp. We had standby area followed by standby cupboard to check for prohibited items. In the end, booked out around 2030. After I came out of the camp's front gate, I took a cab with 2 of my friends to Khatib MRT. Took MRT from Khatib all the way to Bedok and by the time I reached home, it was around 2215hours. Took a quick shower before planting my butt into the chair in front of my computer. This week, there was no bleach manga chapter release. I was kind of looking forward to reading the chapter. Oh well, after that, do my usual stuff like watching animes, playing some online games and chatting..

Another week in camp...

Last week, I had to book in earlier than usual. The book in timing was 2100. Went back camp just to drink water and sleep. During this week, there wasnt much happenings except that there were a few birthdays and "code reds" going around. I managed to read this book 'Hot Stuff' by Elaine Fox within one of the days in camp which had nothing much to do or not much lessons. On thursday night, there was nights out, probably one of the last for this course which will last for another 7 more weeks due to the packed schedule for the next 7 weeks. Oh well. Hopefully nothing bad happens to me for the next 7 weeks in the camp.

Unlucky...

This week was really unlucky. Firstly, last week I had guard duty so my weekend was practically burned. Then 5 ulcers appeared. 3 on the lips and 2 on the tongue making life miserable for me whenever I have my meals. Then a few blisters appeared on my sole. Though not pain but kinda itchy. Then on friday, the spot where I had to stand guard had this dead hamster or rat which was decomposing. There was lots of houseflies and there were maggots crawling out from the insides of the carcass. Unfortunately it was in camp so i could not take any pictures of it to post it online. After i booked out, my EZ link card could not scan and went i asked one of the MRT staffs, they said it was faulty and I had to change my card... Really suay
